Marjorie

Marjorie has had many years actively working in competitor cellar door areas so has a wide ranging knowledge of wines, styles and consumers.

With Irvine Wines her role majors in the packaging of our various wines and the general accounts.

Joanne

After 16 years of successful theatre nursing Joanne decided to go to winemaking. She received her Oenology Degree through Adelaide University and has worked in a number of Australian and American wineries.

Whilst in America she came to understand the making and growing of premium mountain Zinfandel, and now has her first Zinfandel in the market under her name.

As well as winemaking for Irvine, Joanne has consulting clients through Wine Wise - our wine consulting company.

James

All his 59 working years have been in the wine industry and is still actively involved in the day to day operations of Irvine Wines while mentoring Wine Wise consultancy.

Unlike many winemakers, James has been involved in the marketing of wine at senior levels. He feels that this gives more understanding of the consumer needs and a wider appreciation of the responsibility the winemaker must have towards the consumer. As can be seen from his CV he has been involved in industry matters as well.
