Our WinesIRVINEA very serious example of the "European" style. Very complex in its layer upon layer of flavours and complexities; long oak maturation; and premium/deluxe packaging. As such then it is a style whilst based on many of the European winemaking procedures, still has a distinctly Australian approach. This has been accepted by its approval as the world's best Merlot at least twice and runner up on numerous occasions in world Merlot competitions and tastings. This also applies to its acceptance in USA as a deluxe style. Now in its 19th year of making we still see "improvements" that can be incorporated, to even further enhance this wine - a global Merlot! |
